What we really mean when we ask "What is the best way to do x, y, z" is, what is the most efficient way to reach our goals? Whether it's to make X amount/year, have an effective email marketing campaign, or advertise for your business.
The most efficient way to achieve our goals is different for every person and everyone brings different factors that will affect certain choices they make. That being said, with advertising there are certain guidelines that can make the process easier.
Ask who is your audience and where do they spend their time.
By answering these two questions you begin to find your best way. Are they on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Real life? Once you identify who and where your audience is then you can focus on mastering your one Social Media Channel and how you advertise through it.
Thankfully for us coaches, we don't need much to start out as a coach. We aren't selling products or commodities so our most valuable resource is time. By determining the best way to spend your time you already are beginning to figure out what is right for you, rather than paying someone else to tell you a set of maxims or rules that may not be a fit for you.
